New medication

My mom has just started on some new medication, Ebixa. I am really hopeful that it will benefit her.

I was worried that she would steadfastly refuse to take medication, but it turned out that she accepted it. She did have an anxiety attack over it once though, when she started asking us questions about how much to take and when. We explained it to her, but it overwhelmed her and she had a big freak out. I think she thinks she has to remember to take it, but she panics when she realizes she can't remember herself. She doesn't "get" that we are supporting her and monitoring her medication. And of course she resents the fact that we have to help her.
